Position Title: Algerian Local Finance & Administration Officer

About the Role
We are looking for a Local Finance & Administration Officer to support our operations in Algeria. The successful candidate will handle daily financial and administrative activities, liaise with local institutions, and ensure smooth coordination between internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily financial management, including cash receipts/disbursements, bank payments, and account management.
- Manage invoices and financial documents: issuance, collection, registration, safekeeping, and archiving.
- Liaise with external tax agencies to ensure timely and accurate accounting and tax filing; manage document preparation and submission.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, bank reconciliations, and internal financial reports.
- Support communication with banks, tax authorities, and other government departments.
- Provide administrative support, including document management, meeting organization, and travel arrangements.
- Serve as a liaison with local Algerian banks, tax authorities, auditing bodies, and government offices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- Language Skills:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Proficient in French (required)
- Education & Professional Skills:
- Strong foundation in accounting and finance; familiarity with Algerian fiscal regulations and banking processes.
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) is an advantage.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in finance and 1 year in general administration.
- Experience working in multinational companies or international projects is preferred.
