About the Company:Our group is a recognized player in the international trading of petroleum and energy products. As part of our growth, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Oil Trader with a strong understanding of international markets.Main Responsibilities:• Buy and sell crude and refined petroleum products on international markets• Negotiate sales, transport, and storage contracts with counterparties• Monitor and analyze markets (prices, inventories, logistics, geopolitics) to optimize trading positions• Manage risks associated with operations (financial, logistical, legal)• Work closely with back-office, logistics, and finance teams• Develop and maintain a strong commercial network with producers, refiners, traders, and shipowners
Profile Sought:• Higher education degree in business, finance, energy, or equivalent field• Minimum 10 to 15 years of successful experience as an oil trader (physical or derivatives)• Excellent knowledge of international oil markets and trading/hedging instruments (futures, options, swaps)• Full professional proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken• Strong negotiation skills, responsiveness, rigor, and initiative• High stress tolerance and strong results orientation
