KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIESGeneral •Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting.•Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.•Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.•Ensure compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS, SOCPA).•Manage cash flow and forecast financial trends to ensure liquidity and financial stability.•Supervise and mentor finance team members, ensuring effective performance and professional development.•Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits and implement recommendations for improvement.•Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks, providing insights to senior management.•Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial controls.
BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEQualifications•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.•A minimum of 6 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.•Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CA) is preferred.•Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards.Skills•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.•Strong leadership and team management abilities.•Proficient in financial software and accounting systems.•High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.•Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic.•Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
