Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Travel Consultant to join our Destination Management Company (DMC). The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in FIT and group costing, UAE product knowledge, and the ability to manage static rates for hotels, tours, and transfers. This role requires strong analytical skills, in-depth industry knowledge, and proficiency in B2B booking platforms to deliver accurate costings and seamless travel solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate and competitive FIT (Free Independent Traveler) package costings.
- Prepare static group and MICE costings for events, conferences, and incentive travel.
- Manage and maintain static hotel rate calculations for UAE-based hotels.
- Handle tours and transfers costing with a detailed understanding of the UAE static rate structures.
- Maintain strong knowledge of UAE tourism products, including hotels, tours, theme parks, attractions, and operational guidelines.
- Coordinate with suppliers to update rates, availability, and special offers.
- Work with B2B hotel reservation portals for UAE and worldwide bookings.
- Support the sales and operations teams with accurate quotations, package preparation, and product knowledge.
- Ensure cost accuracy and profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- Proven DMC experience (UAE market preferred).
- Expertise in static FIT and group costing.
- Strong understanding of UAE hotel rate structures and tour packages.
- Excellent knowledge of UAE attractions, theme parks, and admission policies.
- Proficiency in B2B booking portals (local and international).
- Attention to detail, accuracy in costing, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field.
- Multilingual skills (English required; Arabic/other languages an advantage).
- Prior experience in UAE-based DMC operations.
