Required skills
A minimum of 15 years experience in the FPGA/Microcontroller Firmware Development.
At least 3 years experience in the certification/classificationmethodologyof software.
Knowledge of software/firmware system/subsystem design with application in the precision guided munition domain.
Demonstrate advanced skill and experienceregardingsoftware/firmware principles and system design.
Knowledge of best practices, engineeringstandardsand development methodologies applicable in the defence industry.
Thorough understanding of the systems engineering process (Requirements, analysis, design, integration, verification,certificationand configuration management.)
Good hands on experience in the following key skill are required
Languages:VHDL (Not Verilog only need VHDL) ,C/C++
Having experience in:
FPGAOEMS :AMD/Xilinx, Microchip/Microsemi, Altera/Intel
AMD Xilinx:ZYNQ7000,ZYNQULTRASCALE+ MPSOC, VIRTEX ULTRASCALE, KINTEX ULTRASCALE+

Interface:10Gethernet,SPI, UART, PCI express ADC,

Responsibilities
Providing guidance to design teamswrttechnical specification of software/firmware design especially considering international standards, practices, and certification.
Providing guidance to technical design teamsregardingevaluation, testingpractices and methodsand coding.
Implementation of sound and advanced engineering practices. Organise and chair design reviews. Firmware Requirement Specifications and Interface Control Specifications.
Specialist knowledgeregardingselection and application of hardware devices applicable to Firmware.
Mentoring and training of junior technical personnel.
Provides inputs to managementregardingfuture software requirements and needs.Assistin the generation of a technology horizon plan that includes resources and software development tools.
Education Qualification
Degree. (Batchelor, Honours, Masters is an advantage.)- Electronic/Software Eng.
