- Install, configure, and upgrade HP Service Manager (HPSM).- Manage user access, roles, and permissions.- Perform system health checks and routine maintenance.- Configure Service Manager modules (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request, etc.).- Customize forms, workflows, business rules, and notifications.- Develop and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and automation rules.- Integrate HPSM with other ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SCCM, LDAP, etc.).- Develop scripts using JavaScript, RAD, and Connect-It.- Manage Web Services (REST/SOAP) integrations.- Monitor application performance and optimize database queries.- Troubleshoot system issues and apply fixes or patches.
- Work with infrastructure teams for server and database tuning.- Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and security best practices.- Ensure compliance with IT policies, audits, and industry standards.- Apply patches and updates to fix vulnerabilities.- Provide technical support for end-users and service desk teams.- Conduct training sessions for IT teams on HPSM features and best practices.- Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.- Develop and maintain reports using HPSM reporting tools and dashboards.- Analyze trends in incidents, problems, and changes for process improvements.- Generate compliance and performance reports for management.
