The Finance Senior Associate is an important business partner to the Investments Team and supports the financial planning and performance of a defined Business Unit by delivering accurate analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. The role helps assess risks, guide decision-making, and ensure financial controls are in place. The job holder works cross-functionally to interpret financial data, improve reporting, and contribute to business growth through operational efficiency and strategic insight.
Business Partnership & Advisory
- Support Investment leaders with financial insights and recommendations.
- Evaluate business proposals and provide full financial impact analysis.
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and ad hoc projects.
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Prepare P&L projections, investment analysis, and budget tracking.
- Support long-term planning, including the 3-Year Strategic Plan.
- Lead variance analysis during month-end and flag financial risks to senior stakeholders.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare financial reports and dashboards analyse performance vs. budget and prior year.
- Monitor P&L, working capital, and balance sheet trends to recommend corrective actions.
- Track capital expenditure budgets and assess cost structures and profitability.
Financial Controls & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and Group policies.
- Review purchase cycles, cash flow, and stock positions.
- Monitor IRR performance for new outlets and product launches.
Process Improvement
- Enhance financial processes, reporting tools, and performance measurement methods.
- Participate in business unit process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Proven stakeholders management.
- Proficiency in financial tools and software, in particular Excel, THINKCELL, SAP, Power Bi.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
