We are seeking a Commercial Admin cum Receptionist. Primarily the role will be acting as first point of contact for our company, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for clients, visitors, and employees. Additionally, assisting in the commercial department gathering documents and uploading for bids.Duties and responsibilities- Responsible for Updating Global Vessels database.- Maintenance of database system for enquiries, clients, contracts and offers.- Responsible for opening and maintaining contract files.- Responsible for recording on/off hire times of vessels and ensuring related contract information is received in a timely manner, recorded, and filed.- Tender/Bid/Contract administration, preparation, and submission.- Preparation of commercial material (Presentation, Specifications……)- Preparation of market availability of vessels.- Issuing commercial information, preparation of letters and general correspondence.- Coordination with ship owners and PS departments for bid preparation.- Assisting in market research and competitor analysis.
- Preferably someone working within the Shipping and Maritime industry.- Able to work as part of a team and demonstrate ability to changing demands.- Good decision making and analytical skills.- Be well organised and be able to prioritise work effectively.- Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.- Excellent command of the English language.
