We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee all procurement activities across the organization while managing the commercial and contractual aspects of supplier relationships. The role is responsible for strategic sourcing, tendering, negotiation, vendor management, and ensuring all procurement processes comply with company policies and contractual obligations.The ideal candidate brings strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and hands-on experience managing both procurement operations and contract administration within industrial, construction, or ready-mix environments.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement Strategy & Operations•Develop and implement procurement strategies that support business objectives and cost-efficiency goals.•Manage the full procurement cycle: RFQs, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and awarding.•Ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services for all projects and operations.•Conduct supplier and market research to stay updated on pricing trends, new products, and market opportunities.Vendor Management•Lead supplier selection, onboarding, evaluation, and continuous performance monitoring.•Build strong long-term relationships with key suppliers and service providers.•Identify supply risks and implement preventive measures.Contracts & Commercial Administration•Draft, review, and negotiate procurement-related agreements, including supply contracts, purchase agreements, service contracts, and subcontractor arrangements.•Ensure all contracts clearly define scope, obligations, pricing, delivery terms, and compliance requirements.•Prepare and review contractual correspondence, variation requests, and commercial clarifications.•Support management in handling contractual claims, disputes, and risk mitigation.Financial & Compliance Oversight•Maintain accurate procurement records, pricing databases, and contract documentation.•Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and relevant trade regulations.•Coordinate with Finance to ensure budget alignment, cost control, and timely supplier payments.•Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and negotiation.Cross-Department Coordination•Work closely with Operations, Production, Logistics, and Projects teams to ensure procurement aligns with operational schedules and needs.•Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding material availability, delivery expectations, risks, and alternatives.Team Leadership•Lead and mentor a team of buyers and procurement officers.•Provide training and build departmental capability in sourcing, negotiation, and contract awareness.•Oversee team workload, performance, and adherence to procurement standards.
