Linum Consult’s client is a major international company currently seeking an Internal Senior Interface Engineer with a background in energy & heavy industry works to be based in their Doha office.RESPONSIBILITIES•Managing, coordinating, and ensuring effective integration across multiple disciplines and project interfaces within the major projects division, under the guidance of the Interface Manager•Ensuring that engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities are properly aligned, and that all internal and cross-functional interfaces are effectively managed to avoid delays, conflicts, or rework•Supervising and guiding interface activities, liaising closely with engineering, procurement, project controls, quality, and construction teams, and acting as the focal point for resolving interface-related issues•Being accountable for monitoring interface performance, identifying potential risks or bottlenecks, and proposing proactive solutions to safeguard project objectives•Promoting & adhering to the company’s health & safety, environmental, energy, and quality management systems and standards
PROFILE•Degree qualification in an Engineering subject and a relevant Professional Certification •At least 10 years’ experience in internal interface engineering, with at least 3-5 years in major projects, ideally within the heavy industry sector•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of departments•Fluent in spoken and written English •Due to visa restrictions, our client can only consider candidates who are Western nationals
