Linum Consult’s client is a major international company currently seeking an External Senior Interface Engineer with a background in energy & heavy industry works to be based in their Doha office.RESPONSIBILITIES•Managing and coordinating all external interfaces between the project and third-party stakeholders, the EPCC contractor, and authorities, under the guidance of the Interface Manager•Ensuring that project requirements, schedules, and contractual obligations are fully integrated and that external dependencies are effectively monitored and resolved to prevent delays or conflicts•Acting as the primary point of contact for external interface matters, facilitating communication, resolving any interface issues, and ensuring alignment between project teams and external stakeholders•Being accountable for monitoring interface performance, identifying potential risks or bottlenecks, and proposing proactive solutions to safeguard project objectives•Promoting & adhering to the company’s health & safety, environmental, energy, and quality management systems and standards
PROFILE•Degree qualification in an Engineering subject and a relevant Professional Certification •At least 10 years’ experience in external interface engineering, with at least 3-5 years in major projects, ideally within the heavy industry sector•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of stakeholders•Fluent in spoken and written English •Due to visa restrictions, our client can only consider candidates who are Western nationals
