Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dubai for an Agriculture Commodity Trader. The role involves managing the trading of agricultural commodities, analyzing market trends, and executing trades to maximize profitability while minimizing risks. Key responsibilities include establishing relationships with clients, negotiating and Generate contracts, monitoring commodity markets, and developing strategies for effective hedging. The trader will also collaborate with finance and sales teams to ensure smooth operations and maintain compliance with industry regulations. The candidate should be willing to travel over seas.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Trading and knowledge of Commodity Markets
- Understanding of Finance and experience with Hedging strategies
- Sales abilities including negotiation and client relationship management
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in market analysis
- Keen understanding of the agricultural industry and supply chain processes
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Agriculture, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and trading platforms; advanced Excel skills preferred
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks
