We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage the daily financial operations of our supermarket. The ideal candidate should have experience in retail or supermarket accounting and be familiar with UAE VAT regulations

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities, including AP, AR, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Oversee Inventory Costing and Stock Control processes typical of a retail environment.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare necessary returns.
- Process payroll and manage expense reports and petty cash.
- Assist in preparing accurate monthly financial statements and budgets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, ideally in the Retail or Supermarket sector.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of UAE VAT and GAAP.
- A major advantage is experience with retail ERP systems, especially Function Five Technologies' SALES TRACKER ERP.
