We are seeking a passionate and detail-driven FF&E Specialist & Designer with a minimum of 5 years of experience gained within a development company or design consultancy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale projects, including hospitality and luxury residential developments. This role requires a unique blend of creative vision and technical precision to lead the sourcing, specification, and detailing of FF&E. You will ensure every element aligns with the project’s design intent, budget, and timeline for our portfolio of high-end projects.Key Responsibilities:•Source and design furniture, lighting, rugs, artwork, accessories, and decorative finishes that align with the creative direction of the project.•Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, specification sheets, and supporting documentation for client approval and contractor execution.•Create and present curated mood boards, materials palettes, and presentation decks that communicate the project's FF&E concept clearly.•Work closely with the interior design, 3D visualization, and technical teams to ensure FF&E selections are accurately reflected in models, visuals, and drawings.•Liaise with local and international suppliers to request pricing, samples, lead times, and technical information.•Support material selection and procurement coordination, ensuring design intent is maintained through cost, quality, and availability.•Oversee BOQs, cost comparisons, and value engineering exercises without compromising the design language.•Attend client meetings, factory visits, mock-ups, and on-site inspections to ensure quality and alignment with design specifications.•Maintain and organize a comprehensive FF&E library, keeping digital records and material boards up to date.•Coordinate and track deliveries and installations, ensuring accurate placement and styling by drawings.•Ensure all selections comply with project timelines, sustainability requirements, and regional regulations.•Actively contributes to the creative development of projects, bringing fresh ideas, references, and design insight to the table.Please include the following in your application to be considered for short listing. •Link to Portfolio showcasing relevant FF&E selections, mood boards, detailed specifications, and site installation images•Three professional references (name, company, email, and phone)•Copy of your University degree or certification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Qualifications & Experience:•Minimum 5 years of experience in FF&E design and specification for luxury residential, hospitality, or resort projects.•Strong creative eye with deep understanding of materials, fabrication techniques, and furniture design principles.•Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Adobe InDesign, is a plus.•Demonstrated experience in producing full FF&E packages from concept to execution.•Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.•Familiarity with local and international suppliers, artisans, and manufacturers.•Highly organized and capable of managing multiple deadlines across complex projects.•Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
