We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in the refinery and oil and gas industry in Fujairah, UAE. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with local and international standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the company.Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate financial records and statements related to refinery and oil and gas operations.- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.- Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flows effectively.- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and support tax filing processes.- Collaborate with various departments to support budgeting and financial planning.- Implement and maintain accounting procedures and controls tailored to industry-specific needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.- Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably within refinery or oil and gas sectors.- Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS).- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external auditors.- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.Key Demographic Requirements - applicants must be:- Based in UAE
