We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our construction project team. The candidate will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing all mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting systems. The role requires strong technical knowledge, site experience, and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise installation of all mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting).
Ensure all work complies with approved drawings, project specifications, and standards.
Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
Monitor daily progress and coordinate with subcontractors and site teams.
Conduct quality inspections and submit IRs for consultant approval.
Resolve technical issues and raise RFIs for design clarifications.
Coordinate with civil, electrical, and architectural teams to avoid clashes.
Perform testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Ensure all site activities follow HSE policies and safe work practices.
Prepare daily reports, maintain site documentation, and assist with as-built drawings.
Participate in handover activities and close snag items.

Skills

Experience with high-rise buildings / industrial projects (optional).

Knowledge of BIM coordination (preferred).

Valid local engineering or site work certifications (if applicable).
