Broadly, the ISG category manager develops and drives ISG category strategy, product assortment, and optimize pricing to identify growth opportunities and maximize profitability across our server, storage and solutions product lines. The ISG Category Manager's typical day-to-day would include the below responsibilities:
. SME on ISG product portfolio and market specifics for KSA
. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape
. Strong alignment with territory /market leadership on priorities and focus areas across all customer segments
. Create, own and communicate strong quarterly plan with product selections, pricing strategy (including PFV), promotional and campaign roadmaps
. Collaboration with the sales teams and enable them with all category tools and levers, including market intelligence
. Identify top selling configurations for servers, storage and solutions in the markets
. Prepare quarterly sales-in/sales-out planning in cooperation with the distribution and channel team
. Prepare an accurate portfolio forecast and transition planning, provide forecast to KSA category to ensure seamless supply
. Align with marketing on efficient marketing campaigns, manage MDFs and ensure good marketing presence to and through distribution
. Constantly monitor results and propose corrective actions if needed
Position Requirements:
. 5+ years product and/or business management experience with technology products, ideally from ISG
. Strong understanding of channel management or channel-based sales models
. Proven experience to manage Distributors and exceptional track record in reaching Sell-in and Sell-out targets
. Analytical skills, experience with financial management and P&L, creating business plans, combined with excellent communication, negotiation and collaboration skills, ability to build alliances
. Fluent in English Arabic proficiency is a mandatory requirement
. Being based in Riyadh and wilingness to travel across KSA as needed.
