Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartering Executive Full time for immediate start at Nazek Shipping Services LLC OPC Ras Alkhaima office. The Chartering Executive will be responsible for managing all aspects of vessel chartering and brokerage, focusing on safe, efficient, and cost-effective cargo movement. Daily tasks include negotiating freight rates, coordinating cargo shipments, and ensuring timely service solutions.
Skills
· Experience in vessel chartering and brokerage
· Knowledge of cargo types such as steel, fertilizer, grain, coal, etc.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills
· Ability to work independently and remotely
· Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
· Understanding of maritime industry regulations
· Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business, or related field
· Proven experience in the Chartering field or fixture
· Good sales track record and customer portfolio
· Knowledge of the shipping industry and maritime regulations
· A well-established network within the dry bulk sector to support business development.
Salary: Basis % Commission based on each closed deal
