📝 Job Summary
The Warehouse In-Charge is responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, safe material handling, timely dispatch, and compliance with company procedures. The role supervises warehouse staff and maintains efficient storage and distribution processes.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations
- Oversee receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatch of materials.
- Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and storage of goods.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse.
2. Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate stock records (manual or ERP).
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile variances.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare GRNs, delivery notes, issue vouchers, and transfer documents.
- Maintain proper filing of warehouse records.
- Submit daily/weekly/monthly stock and movement reports.
4. Coordination & Dispatch
- Coordinate with procurement, production, sales, and logistics teams.
- Ensure timely material availability for production/projects.
- Arrange dispatches as per approved delivery schedules.
5. Team Supervision
- Supervise warehouse staff, helpers, and forklift operators.
- Allocate duties and ensure productivity and discipline.
- Train staff on safety and material handling procedures.
6. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company policies.
- Proper handling of hazardous or sensitive materials (if applicable).
- Prevent loss, damage, or theft of inventory.

- Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory management.

- Basic computer skills (Excel / ERP / SAP preferred).
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Skills
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3–7 years experience as Warehouse In-Charge / Storekeeper / Warehouse Supervisor.
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or trading companies preferred.
💼 Additional Requirements
- Forklift license (preferred).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
- Knowledge of materials relevant to the industry (PVC, steel, aluminum, etc.).
