We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Commi Chef specializing in bakery to join our dynamic culinary team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will support the bakery kitchen by preparing high-quality baked goods and assisting in maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and baking of a variety of bread, pastries, and other bakery items following established recipes and standards.- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in the bakery area at all times.- Work closely with the head baker and pastry chefs to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods.- Measure and prepare ingredients accurately as per recipes.- Monitor the quality of products and report any discrepancies to senior chefs.- Follow health and safety guidelines meticulously to maintain a safe working environment.- Support inventory management by notifying supervisors of ingredient shortages and assist in stock rotation.
- Previous experience in a bakery or similar role is preferred.- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.- Strong attention to detail and quality.- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.- Willingness to adhere to hygiene and safety standards.- Flexibility to work in shifts and weekends as required.
