Job Description
We are hiring a Finance Head for one of our esteemed clients—a leading trading company based in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have strong UAE experience in finance leadership roles, particularly in cross-trade operations and 3rd port shipments, along with deep knowledge of IFRS and UAE taxation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management
- Oversee end-to-end financial operations including accounting, treasury, internal controls, audits, working capital, and taxation (VAT & Corporate Tax).
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, taxation laws, and internal policies.
2. Reporting & Analysis
- Provide management with analytical financial insights through budgeting, forecasting, dashboards, and risk assessments.
- Support strategic and operational decision-making with timely financial reports.
3. Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 6 accounting professionals, ensuring high performance, collaboration, and continuous development.
4. Strategic Planning
- Contribute to the company’s strategic vision and execute financial strategies across all business units.
- Drive process improvements and implement systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Skills
- 7–10 years of finance leadership experience in a UAE-based trading company.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with cross-trade and 3rd port shipment scenarios.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and other financial software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and English fluency.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive financial planning and strategic initiatives.
- Leadership skills with proven experience managing teams.
