Site Supervision & Execution: Oversee daily activities (rebar, formwork, concrete, MEP, finishes), ensuring
work matches approved drawings, method statements, and specifications.
Quality Control (QA/QC): Conduct internal inspections, prepare Inspection and Test Reports (ITRs), enforce
quality standards (like Dubai Municipality codes), and track corrective actions for non-conformities.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Implement and enforce safety regulations, conduct audits, manage
risks, and ensure a safe working environment.
Coordination: Liaise with Project Managers, Architects, Consultants, Subcontractors, Foremen, and other
departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Progress Monitoring: Track project milestones, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to keep the
project on schedule.
Material & Equipment Management: Manage material delivery, storage, usage, and ensure proper
allocation of equipment.
Documentation: Prepare daily/weekly reports, site diaries, and maintain records of all site activities,
inspections, and changes.
Technical Problem Solving: Resolve technical issues, interpret engineering drawings, and provide site-
specific solutions.
Skills
- Software: AutoCAD, BIM, MS Project.
- Construction Knowledge: Structural design, soil mechanics, concrete mix, drainage, foundation types (piles, raft).
- UAE Specifics: Materials adaptation (heat, corrosion), water quality, desert construction challenges.
- Regulations: Local building codes, safety standards (HSE).
- Execution: Site layout (Total Stations/GPS), method statements, quality control, testing.
- Leadership & Teamwork: Leading teams, coordinating with consultants, M&E, contractors.
