JOB SUMMARY:
To lead the company’s legal department, ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations, protect the company’s legal interests, mitigate potential legal risks, and support strategic and operational decision-making.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide legal advice to senior management and all departments across the company.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect company interests.
- Monitor relevant local and international laws and regulations and recommend policy updates accordingly.
- Manage disputes and legal cases involving the company, including litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters.
- Coordinate with external legal advisors when necessary.
- Ensure company compliance with regulations and protect intellectual property and company rights.
- Ensure company compliance with SFDA, Ministry of Health, NUPCO, and other relevant pharmaceutical industry regulators.
- Provide legal oversight on partnerships, licensing, joint ventures, and technology transfer agreements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (Master’s or professional certificate)
- Minimum of 8 years of legal experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of local and international laws and regulations relevant to the company’s operation.
- Experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and managing legal cases.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and Spoken).
