Job Summary:
The Architectural Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and coordination of architectural projects within an engineering consultancy environment. The role involves producing high-quality architectural designs, ensuring technical accuracy, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects that meet client requirements, local regulations, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural design concepts from initial planning through detailed design stages.
- Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, specifications, and 3D visualizations.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior design teams within the engineering office.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and authority requirements.
- Review and prepare design submissions, shop drawings, and technical documents.
- Participate in client meetings and incorporate feedback into design solutions.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design intent is achieved.
- Manage multiple projects and ensure delivery within approved timelines and budgets.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in engineering consultancy offices.
- Strong experience in architectural design development and construction documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.
- Familiarity with local authority approval processes and building regulations.
