We are looking for an experienced Indian Chef specializing in North Indian and/or South Indian cuisine to manage daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality and consistency, and support menu execution for a high-volume food business. The ideal candidate should be skilled in authentic Indian cooking, cost control, and hygiene standards.
Skills
- Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes (North Indian, South Indian, Tandoori, Curry-based items, rice & bread)
- Maintain consistent taste, portion control, and presentation
- Plan daily production and manage prep schedules
- Ensure compliance with UAE food safety & hygiene standards
- Monitor and control food costs and minimize wastage
- Manage kitchen inventory and coordinate ingredient requirements
- Supervise helpers/commis if assigned
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
- Assist in menu planning and standard recipe development
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
