The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the café/restaurant to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and staff, in compliance with health and food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize dining areas, tables, chairs, and floors.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms regularly.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and food preparation areas as instructed.
- Dispose of waste daily in a safe and hygienic manner.
- Clean and maintain cleaning tools and equipment.
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Adhere to health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
- Support the team when needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or shortages of cleaning supplies.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a café or restaurant is an advantage.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and hygiene.
- Physically fit to perform cleaning duties.
