We are seeking an experienced and driven Coatings Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in the UAE. In this role, you will specialize in delivering advanced coatings solutions to clients in the oil & gas, maritime, and mechanical repair sectors. You will play a critical role in driving sales growth, fostering client relationships, and providing technical expertise to meet complex industry demands.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the oil & gas, maritime, and mechanical repair industries.- Engage with clients to understand their coating requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet technical specifications and project needs.- Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure accurate product presentations, demonstrations, and problem-solving during client engagements.- Maintain and build strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term business growth.- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitor activities within the coatings segment.- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively.- Provide after-sales support and technical guidance to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to represent the company and expand professional networks.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.- NACE CIP Level 1 Qualification- Proven experience of 3-4 years in sales within the coatings sector, preferably serving the oil & gas, maritime, or mechanical repair markets.- Strong technical knowledge of Protective Coatings, Corrosion Protection, and industry standards relevant to oil & gas and maritime environments.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.- Fluency in English; additional language skills are an asset.
