Job Description: Responsible for planning, selecting, mobilising, operating, and maintaining all construction equipment and vehicles used on site. The role ensures that heavy machinery (cranes, earthmoving equipment, lifting gear, transport vehicles, etc.) is safe, compliant, and efficiently utilised to support project execution.Key Responsibilities:•Plan, select, and mobilise appropriate plant, machinery, and vehicles based on project requirements•Manage equipment deployment, utilisation, and productivity to meet construction schedules•Oversee inspection, certification, testing, and maintenance of machinery and lifting equipment•Ensure compliance with HSE standards, risk assessments, and safe operating procedures•Coordinate with construction, logistics, and HSE teams for smooth equipment operations•Monitor equipment performance, breakdowns, and repairs; minimise downtime•Manage equipment records, permits, certifications, and maintenance logs•Control PMV-related costs, fuel consumption, and rental agreements•Support lifting plans, method statements, and heavy lift operations•Supervise operators and ensure proper training and competency•Ensure timely demobilisation and redeployment of plant and machinery
