Responsible for Preparing / checking and approving the following key deliverables, applicable as per the project scope-safety philosophy,
safety design documents, fire water demand calculations, fire water hydraulic calculations, safety equipment datasheets and specifications.
- Developed Fire Water System P&ID and Fire Water system layout for the firefighting system and prepared fire water demand calculation
report.
- Review of vendor documents and coordinating with vendor to achieve the product based on the requirement on time.
Perform Fire water demand calculation and Hydraulic calculation including nozzle arrangement drawing and Utility flow diagram for fire water system
- Prepared fire and safety compliance report and Shell DEP compliance report to ensure that the project design are in compliance with the corporate fire and safety philosophy.
- Prepared Close out reports for all the safety studies with tracking sheet to ensure that recommendation from all the safety studies are closed and implemented in the project design.
- HSE Risk register is prepared and included the recommendations identified from different safety studies to ensure that all the recommendations are closed.
- Prepared Fire and Gas Cause and Effect inaccodarnce to corporate fire and safety philosophy and existing theory.
- Developed and reviewed fire and gas detector layout as per corporate fire and safety philosophy and NFPA 72.
- Data sheet and specification for the firefighting equipment's are safety sign are prepared and reviewed based on the project requirement and corporate fire and safety philosophy.
- Coordination and managing the client and sub-contractors implement the actual requirement of the project till the completion of project.
- Organize and Participated in HAZID, HAZOP & SIL, Reliability, ALARP & CBA workshops. Assumption Register for QRA & Quantitative
Risk Assessment (QRA) Review.
- Project HSE Training Plan & Project HSE Audit Plan and Project Emergency Response Plan, Environmental Management Plan, HSE
Performance & Reporting & Project HSE Incentive Scheme, Fire & Gas Detection Philosophy & Fire And Gas Detection, Safety Equipment
And Escape Route and Fire Fighting Equipment Layouts, Firefighting System & Active Fire Protection Philosophy and Noise Control
Philosophy & Vibration Control Philosophy. Implementing the safety/loss prevention requirements for a project in accordance with standards.
- Ensures project activities carried out are conducted in strict accordance with the Qatar Energy Corporate Fire & Safety Philosophy. Develop
and maintain updated Project Regulatory Compliance Register.
- Carry out the FEED Verification/Gap Analysis and Develop/Review the Cause & Effects Plan and conduct PQMS audits for Projects (FEED
& Detail Engineering). Review and comment the HSSE Documents received from Vendors.
- Develop and support appropriate Health & Safety risk control strategies for construction sites. Preparation of Fire & Safety Equipment
Layouts, Escape route & safety sign layouts. Review and comment the Hazardous Area Classification schedule & layouts
- Provides design safety assistance to other disciplines by performing IDC/Providing inputs as required, layout review, area classification
drawings, F&G logic diagrams, fire, and gas detector layouts.
- Research new materials or processes to improve safety standards, inspect equipment and facilities to ensure they meet safety standards and
provide training to staff on hazardous materials or methods to prevent accidents.
- Provide safety inputs in the preparation and evaluation of Plot Plans, Equipment Layout, Fire and Gas detector layout, Fire, Safety and Escape
route layout etc.
- Review and comment on the Contractors HSE Plans and advice the Contractor to update the site safety plan when necessary. Review and
comment on Contractors risk assessments and work method statements.
