We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our food production factory and two sales branches. The ideal candidate will manage everything from cost of goods sold (COGS) at the plant level to daily sales reconciliation at our retail outlets, ensuring high financial accuracy and waste reduction.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Factory & Cost Accounting
- Calculate and monitor the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for all manufactured products.
- Perform regular inventory audits for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Analyze "Yield vs. Waste" reports to identify production inefficiencies.
- Manage relationships and payments for raw material suppliers.
2. Branch & Retail Oversight
- Perform daily sales reconciliations for both sales branches (Cash, Credit Card, and Delivery Apps).
- Monitor branch-level expenses and petty cash.
- Track inter-unit transfers (moving stock from the factory to the branches) to ensure no inventory "disappears" in transit.
3. Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow forecasts.
- Manage VAT filings and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Process monthly payroll for factory workers and branch staff.
- Coordinate year-end audits.
Skills
Experience: 3–5 years in accounting, specifically within the Food & Beverage (F&B) or Manufacturing sectors.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/ACCA is a plus).
Software: Odoo 15+
Analytical Mindset: Ability to spot discrepancies in inventory or margins quickly.
Independence: Proven ability to work solo, manage your own time, and build processes from scratch.
