The Showroom Manager is responsible for the smooth daily operation of the showroom, including sales performance, team supervision, customer service, and visual presentation. This leadership role requires a balance of commercial awareness, team management, and product knowledge to achieve sales targets and deliver a superior shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales and customer service targets.
- Ensure the showroom/shop provides a professional, welcoming, and customer-friendly environment.
- Oversee visual merchandising and ensure displays reflect brand image and product quality.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase footfall, conversion, and revenue.
- Handle escalated customer issues and greet VIP clients.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, pricing, and competitor activity.
- Coordinate with logistics/warehouse teams to ensure timely product deliveries.
- Train and coach sales staff on customer service, product knowledge, and selling techniques.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness, safety, and compliance with operational standards.
Skills
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or Interior Design (for furniture).
- Master’s degree or professional management certifications are an advantage.
- 5–8 years of experience in retail/furniture/electronics sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven ability to lead teams and achieve sales targets.
- Strong customer service, communication, and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of furniture/home décor trends or consumer electronics/technology products.
- Proficiency in MS Office and retail/CRM software.
- Ability to analyze sales data and prepare performance reports.
- Fluency in English; French is an advantage.
