Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and contractual aspects of ongoing construction projects. The role includes handling variations, payments, cost control, and contract administration to ensure financial and contractual compliance across project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess variation submissions from contractors & consultants
- Evaluate cost and time impacts of variations and negotiate valuations
- Verify and certify interim & final payments
- Monitor project cash flow and expenditure forecasts
- Prepare and update cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Administer construction contracts (FIDIC or equivalent) from start to completion
- Provide commercial advice and monthly financial reports to management
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- 810 years experience in QS/Engineering Consultancy roles
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and contract administration
- Proficient in QS and project management software
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
