Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a background in the staffing and recruitment sector. The ideal candidate will handle all accounting functions, including VAT compliance, payroll management, contract and invoice processing, and financial reporting in line with IFRS.Key Responsibilities:-Manage full-cycle accounting for the company, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL) entries.-Prepare and file UAE VAT returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.-Calculate End of Service Benefits (ESOB) and other statutory obligations for employees.-Generate contracts, quotes, and invoices for clients and vendors accurately and timely.-Handle WPS payroll processing and maintain timesheets for outsourced employees.-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.-Ensure accuracy in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting for audit readiness.-Liaise with banks, regulatory authorities, and external auditors as required.-Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.-Minimum 6-8 years of accounting experience in staffing or recruitment firms.-Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and filing procedures.-Experience with ESOB calculations and WPS payroll system.-Proficiency in IFRS and general accounting principles.-Experience preparing contracts, quotes, and invoices.-Proficiency in accounting software, including Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar.-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
