Role Summary
We are hiring an Event Sponsorship Sales Executive responsible for generating sponsorship and exhibition revenue for B2B conferences and exhibitions. This role requires daily outbound sales activity, strong closing ability, and experience selling sponsorships to corporate decision-makers.
This is a performance-led role with clear KPIs and high commission potential.
Key Responsibilities
Sponsorship Sales
- Sell event sponsorship packages, exhibition booths, and branding opportunities
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting → pitching → negotiation → closing
- Achieve monthly and event-specific revenue targets
Outbound Sales & Client Engagement
- Conduct daily cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
- Book and run meetings with marketing heads, partnership leaders, and C-suite executives
- Build and maintain a pipeline of sponsors and exhibitors
Sales Execution & Coordination
- Clearly communicate event value propositions, audience profiles, and sponsorship ROI
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure sponsor deliverables are fulfilled
- Support upselling and cross-selling across multiple events
Reporting & Discipline
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, and deals
- Share weekly sales activity and pipeline reports
- Meet minimum activity benchmarks (calls, meetings, proposals)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Sponsorship revenue achieved vs target
- Number of outbound calls per day
- Meetings booked and conducted per week
- Deals closed and average deal size
Skills
Required Experience & Skills
Essential
- 1–4 years experience in event sales, sponsorship sales, B2B sales, or media sales
- Proven ability to close deals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with cold calling and target pressure
Preferred
- Experience selling conference sponsorships or exhibition stands
- Knowledge of UAE / GCC corporate market
- CRM experience (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.)
