This opportunity is with our client based in Dubai. The role involves overseeing maintenance of critical plant equipment in a metal smelting and refining environment.Key Responsibilities:-Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on furnaces, kettles, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.-Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.-Inspect, test, and maintain plant machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.-Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to improve reliability and reduce breakdowns.-Coordinate with the engineering and operations team to plan and execute maintenance activities without disrupting production.-Monitor and report on equipment performance, maintenance metrics, and potential risks.-Assist in upgrades, modifications, and installation of new equipment when required.-Ensure compliance with all safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements on-site.-Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and reporting for audits and process improvements.-Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians or team members as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.-Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance within the metal smelting or refining industry (preferably tin/lead).-Strong knowledge of furnace, kettle, electrical, and mechanical systems.-Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.-Ability to work on-site at a factory/plant.
