We are currently looking for a Resident Engineer will be responsible for supervising and coordinating construction activities on-site, ensuring that all work is executed in accordance with project specifications, designs, and quality standards. The role requires strong contractor, supervision & engineering experience and the ability to manage day-to-day site operations efficiently.Key Responsibilities:• Supervise and monitor contractor activities on-site to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and contractual obligations.• Review contractor work plans, schedules, and progress reports.• Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards.• Coordinate with design engineers, consultants, and project managers to resolve technical issues.• Inspect and approve materials, workmanship, and completed works.• Maintain daily site reports, progress documentation, and records of inspections.• Monitor contractor performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary.• Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and schedule tracking.• Participate in project meetings, site inspections, and progress reviews.
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering discipline.•5–12 years of experience in construction, with proven experience in contractor supervision.•Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, codes, and standards.•Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.•Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical and operational issues promptly.•Proficiency in project management and reporting tools (MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, etc.).•Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
