We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Mechanic Foreman to support our mechanical team in the UAE. This role involves assisting in supervising daily mechanical operations, ensuring quality workmanship, and promoting a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities:•Assist the Mechanic Foreman in overseeing the daily operations of the mechanical team.•Support in coordinating and supervising repair, maintenance, and installation tasks.•Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies on site.•Help in managing and training junior mechanics and technicians.•Monitor the quality of work and take corrective actions when necessary.•Assist in maintaining tools, equipment, and inventory records.•Report progress and issues to the senior foreman or management as required.
•Min 5 years of experience in heavy machinery maintenance and repair•Experience working in site workshops and supporting field operations•Ability to work flexible hours and support urgent breakdowns when required•Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems•Ability to supervise helpers and coordinate daily workshop activities•UAE experience is preferred•Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
