We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to focus on universities and research institutes across the MENA region. The ideal candidate will be analytical, dynamic, and results-oriented, with strong market connections, excellent customer relationship skills, and deep commercial and technical expertise.This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and maintain long-term partnerships with key stakeholders. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, expanding the company’s market presence, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients.Key Qualifications:•Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or commercial roles, preferably within the higher education, research, or scientific equipment/solutions sectors.•Strong understanding of the MENA market, including universities, research institutes, and relevant industry trends.•Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.•Commercial acumen, including experience in contract negotiation, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization.•Technical knowledge relevant to Universities and Research Institutes to support client consultations and solution development.•Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.•Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.•Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.•Multilingual skills (e.g., English + Arabic) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.- Proven experience (5+ years) in business development, preferably within the education or research sectors.- Strong understanding of the higher education landscape and research collaboration mechanisms in the UAE and broader MENA region.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strategic partnerships and networks.- Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a multicultural environment.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and organizational skills.
