The Facility Officer is responsible for ensuring that the bank’s physical infrastructure — including retail branches and corporate offices—is safe, functional, and efficient. You will oversee maintenance, vendor relationships, and health and safety protocols to provide a seamless experience for both customers and staff.• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the upkeep of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and elevators. Ensure 100% uptime for critical systems like backup generators and UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply).• Vendor & Contract Management: Source, negotiate with, and supervise third-party contractors (janitorial, landscaping, repairs). Conduct regular performance audits to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.• Security & Safety Compliance: Collaborate with the security team to maintain CCTV, fire alarms, and access control systems. Ensure the premises comply with local building codes and occupational health and safety (OHS) standards.• Space Planning: Manage office layouts, seating arrangements, and branch renovations to optimize workflow and customer traffic.• Budgeting & Cost Control: Prepare annual facility budgets and monitor expenses. Identify opportunities for energy saving and cost reduction without compromising quality.• Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all physical assets (furniture, equipment, electronics) and manage their lifecycle from procurement to disposal.
• Education Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Admin, or a related field.• Experience 3–5 years in facility management, preferably within the financial services or hospitality sector.Technical Skills• Proficiency in CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) software and basic knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.• Soft Skills Strong negotiation tactics, "cool-under-pressure" crisis management, and attention to detail.
