We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in the UAE. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software.- Coordinate with project teams to gather accurate project data and update schedules accordingly.- Monitor project progress and prepare reports highlighting variances, risks, and potential delays.- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to optimize project timelines and resources.- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans related to project timelines.- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company standards in all planning activities.- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior planners and team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.- Minimum 7 years of experience in project planning within the construction or engineering sectors.- Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other scheduling tools.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Knowledge of UAE construction standards and practices is preferred.- Professional certifications in planning or project management such as PMI-SP or PMP are an advantage.
